As its airport expands,
Brno is being made accessible to mass air travel by budget airlines.
Although,
like Prague, Brno has a relatively high level of private property ownership
and regulated tenancies, the lack of newly constructed flats, combined
with the influx of workers from outside Brno, has caused a buoyant rental
market. Workers migrating from outside Brno are faced with no other
choice but to rent.
