Chiang Mai property

A
large part of Chiang Mai's land is covered by mountains and
forests. These generally run in a north-south pattern through
the province and give birth to several streams and tributaries
which in turn feed important rivers and irrigation canals which
provide the water necessary to Chiang Mai's agriculture. Chiang
Mai is also home to Inthanon Mountain, Thailand's highest mountain. |
Climate
Cool Season : late October to the end of February. Average temperature
21C. The coolest months are December and January.
Hot Season
: early March to the end of May. Average temperature 29.9C. The
hottest month is April.
| Chiang
Mai is a blend of Cambodian, Burmese, and Indian cultures. The
result is the distinct Lanna culture and architecture that is
still evident in Chiang Mai today. Ancient temples can be seen
almost anywhere in the city. |

With an abundance
of mountains, forests, and valleys, Chiang Mai has much to offer
in the area of nature. Almost countless numbers of waterfalls, caves,
mountain peaks, and national parks can be found in the areas surrounding
Chiang Mai City.

There
are other types of natural attractions such as commercial orchid
farms, butterfly farms, snake farms, and elephant camps. These
are found chiefly in the Mae Rim District. An admission fee
is required for entrance.In addition, there are resorts, along
with centering on some locale of natural beauty, provide food
and drinks as well as accommodations. |
