Milan could even be considered Italy's first city it is home to the stock exchange and the heart of the wealty north of the country a powerhouse of business and financial activity. While Rome reains the centre of goverment and administartion of the country.

Milan is a great place for a weekend break and a the Italain lakes are nearby including lake Come, Lake Maggiore and the Italian alps are also just a few miles away. Of course the countrys second religion is football and it is home to the famous AC Milan and Inter Milan football clubs.
